Aerodynamics

Definitions

• The science of the action of air on an object, and with the motion of air on other gases. Aerodynamics deals with the production of lift by the aircraft, the relative wind, and the atmosphere.
• The study of the behavior of moving air and the forces that it produces as it passes over or around certain shaped objects, such as wings, propellers, or parachute canopies.
